This HMS Lion hull was my first warship. I bought it in 2004, and apart from a stint with the Koehlers, it's been largely unchanged. So in addition to converting the hull, I will be stripping out the interior and fixing some new-guy mistakes I made when I first built it that have remained.

I happen to know where you can get some Tiger superstructure :whistling: (it's here on the forum!)

Looking forward to seeing the rebuild.

I have downloaded the files. Thanks for putting them online, that will save a bunch of time.

K, life got crazy for a while. Today, I got the rear subdeck (which stretches like 2/3 of the whole length, although half of that, it's only a stringer below the casements) fitted. Tomorrow, I cut out the center of it and glue it in place. I have grey ABS filament coming in later this week to begin printing the SS. Pics tomorrow because I forgot my camera in the house when I went out to work lol.

I got the stern subdeck fitted, and I'm gluing it in a bit at a time (limited by clamp population). I will be using my Sonicrafter to thin the edge down to 1/8" high where it's just a stringer. I will be adding plywood backings to the ribs which will be pinned to the subdeck for rigidity.
